The Accord name is iconic, and with the newest lineup—the three offered body styles are the Accord sedan, coupe, and hybrid. Honda has solidified itself as one of the finest vehicle manufacturers in the world. A quality and spacious interior, impressive acceleration, superb safety scores, and remarkable fuel efficiency are all qualities to expect when buying one of the new 2017 Honda Accord cars.

And we’re happy to announce that the all-new 2017 Honda Accord vehicles are now available for lease and purchase at our car dealerships in South Florida! With numerous Honda dealers serving the areas of Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Hollywood, and Pembroke Pines, we’re confident that you’ll have no issue locating and test driving an Accord. But for those of you still in research mode, here’s what you can expect from Honda’s newest Accord lineup.

What’s New With the 2017 Accord Sedan?

Deep within the hotly contested midsize segment, you’ll find myriad winners, but none as jim-dandy successful as the Honda Accord. Rivaled by few and superior to many, the Accord continues its dominance as the best of its kind thanks to a slew of new features along with the carried-over brilliance of the 2016 model year. The sedan has improved across the board—interior space, fuel economy, and driving experience have all gotten better—and is appealing to just about anyone who drives a car.

Available in six trim levels, the Accord boasts quality inside and out and front to back.

The base four-cylinder is the Honda Accord LX. It comes equipped with alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity, a 7.7-inch infotainment screen, modern safety features, a back-up camera, foldable rear seating, LED taillights, and dual-zone climate control AC—all of which are standard throughout the 2017 Accord lineup. From the driver’s seat, visibility is top in its class, and the Accord’s seat itself can easily be manipulated into different positions. The LX’s i-VTEC® engine produces 185 horsepower, which is remarkably evident when the accelerator plunges under the weight of your heel.

Stepping up from the base model is the Accord Sport. With its muscular design—19-inch wheels, a rear spoiler, and dual-exhaust pipes help this trim’s persona shine—the Sport trim level pushes out a bit more horsepower from its i-VTEC® engine (189 hp). In addition to standard features, the Accord Sport is fitted with LED daytime lights, fog lights, leather-lined cloth seats, eight-way power driver’s seat with lumbar adjustments, a split-folding rear seat, and a specially wrapped leather steering wheel with optional paddled shifters on automatics.

The Accord Sport SE is new to the Accord lineup and has the same features as the Sport, with the addition of heated leather seats that are accentuated with a bright red stitch. The SE is also branded on the car’s rear.

At the top of the trim line is the 2017 Accord EX. Along with standard features and an eight-way power driver’s seat, the EX comes packaged with heated side mirrors, a sunroof, push-start ignition button, LaneWatch, 7-inch touchscreen interface, HD/satellite radio, and smartphone integration with apps like HondaLink, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.

The 2017 Honda Accord EX-L takes excellence a step further with its integration of leather upholstery, four-way power passenger-side seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and driver-seat memory.

In addition to the four-cylinder trims, the 2017 Accord can also be equipped with a V6 engine, which is exclusively available in the EX-L and Touring line. With the Accord Touring V6, owners receive automatically controlled high-beam headlights, weather-sensing windshield wipers, front and rear park-assist sensors, a rear lid spoiler, heated outboard seats, and the critically acclaimed Honda Sensing suite of safety features.

Across the board, the Accord sedan is also as safe as we’ve ever seen, garnering five-star overall protection ratings from the NHTSA. Such incredible safety ratings combined with the high-quality design and innumerable features make the 2017 Accord an unbeatable midsize sedan. When you need a family car, look no further than the Accord—which won’t be difficult to spot since the Accord simply cannot be ignored.

2017 Honda Accord Coupe: A Definitive Sporty Value

2017 Honda Accord Coupe

The Honda Accord is also sold as a two-door coupe, helping to add defining charisma to the midsize segment.

As the only front-wheel-drive coupe available at this price labeled as “midsize,” the 2017 Accord Coupe can be purchased with the standard four-cylinder i-VTEC® engine or the beefier V6.

Equipped with the four-cylinder, the Coupe is available in LX-S, EX, and EX-L trims, while the V6 models are offered in EX-L and Touring trim levels. All models offer the same or similar features to their Accord sedan counterparts, with exception to a few additional flourishes: The LX-S utilizes a six-speaker sound system and 17-inch wheels, which aids in the car’s athletic allure. The EX/EX-L and Touring trims get 18- and 19-inch wheels, respectively.

2017 Accord Hybrid: Newest Addition to Our South Florida Honda Dealerships

Returning to the lineup after a brief hiatus is the 2017 Accord Hybrid. With a beefier engine, better fuel-efficiency numbers, and more standard tech options and safety features, this year’s Honda Hybrid is much improved. And we’re happy to feature it in the lineup of new cars for sale at our South Florida Honda dealerships.

Moving hybrid production into Japan has allowed Honda to double manufacturing, which means more availability throughout all 50 states, including here in South Florida. The move also allowed Honda to create a better hybrid in general; the 2.0L Atkinson engine, two AC generators, and a compact battery pack are all improvements which enable the car to have a near 700-mile range off of just one fuel-and-charge. Combined with a roomy interior and low-key appearance that never gives off a scent of pretentiousness, the 2017 Accord Hybrid is certainly at the top of the eco-conscious totem pole.

Most impressive may be the inclusion of the HondaSensing suite of safety features—the suite is one of the best in the industry and features collision mitigation braking, collision warning systems, lane-departure alerts and mitigation, and more—that comes standard on each and every 2017 Hybrid Accord. The mark of a good engineer is to know what drivers desire, and Honda’s engineers proved their worth with the Accord Hybrid model.
