1. Calle Ocho Music Festival, March 10, 2019

Little Havana’s Calle Ocho is the largest street festival in Miami and the largest Hispanic festival in the U.S. Twenty block of Little Havana are filled with food, fashion, dance, art, and music. Join over one million revelers during this epic festival. Proceeds support the local Kiwanis Club, funding projects to change children’s lives. 

2. Hollywood St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival, March 10, 2019. 

Bust out your green for the 21st annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration in downtown Hollywood. After the festive parade of floats, pipes, and drum corps, stick around to enjoy the live music on the festival’s main stage. 

3. Miami Film Festival, March 1-10, 2019

Miami Dade College’s 36th annual film festival is set for another blockbuster showing. This showcase of thought-provoking local and international film brings the art of cinema to the masses during the ten-day festival. 4. Greater Fort Lauderdale Food and Wine Festival, March 23-24, 2019. 

Celebrate local cuisine during this signature event that highlights local culinary talents. While you sample the fares, enjoy live music and art installations. Saturday March 23rd features the exclusive Grand Tasting, while Sunday is Family Day, a day of free admission with local food trucks, live entertainment, and children’s activities. Family Day guests are encouraged to bring canned goods to benefit Feeding South Florida, a local non-profit. 

5. Miami Beach Pride Festival, April 1-7, 2019

Celebrate the community during this nearly weeklong party that aims to bring together people from all walks of life. Expect music, dancing, outrageous costumes, and celebrity appearances, all while promoting unity and community among a diverse group of people. 

6. Las Olas Wine and Food Festival, April 5, 2019

Come hungry (and thirsty) to this 23rd annual culinary festival. Sample from 50+ restaurants and 40+ wineries, breweries, and distilleries. Mix, mingle, and eat, eat, eat, all while supporting a worthy cause. Proceeds from this event benefit the American Lung Association in their mission to fight lung disease and cancer. 

7. Rock the Ocean Tortuga Festival, April 12-14, 2019

This three-day, multi-stage music festival features some of the biggest acts in country, rock, and roots music. Held on the white sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, the event entertains while bringing awareness to marine conservation issues. Money from the event supports the Rock the Ocean Foundation, a non-profit committed to preserving our oceans. 

8. Delray Affair, April 12-14, 2019

The Delray Affair is the largest arts and crafts fair in the Southeastern United States, with vendors from over 30 states and 12 different countries. As you stroll the twelve city blocks of downtown Delray Beach, you can admire a wide range of handmade goods, from fine art to eclectic sculptures to funky crafts. Enjoy live entertainment and special “Delray After Dark” promotions from local businesses. 

9. Pompano Beach Seafood Festival, April 26-28, 2019.
