From parades to bar crawls, races to festivals, St. Patrick’s Day events in Miami offer something for everyone. With March 17 landing on a Saturday this year, there’s even more for all you wannabe leprechauns to celebrate. Here are some of the best Miami St. Patrick’s Day parties to hit up in 2018.
St. Pat’s Wynwood Block Party
Spend the entire afternoon embracing Irish traditions at one of the largest block parties in Miami. From noon to the wee hours of the morning, South Florida’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day events will be roaring at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center. There will be a green beer garden on tap, as well as a free festive street celebration around the art district where food trucks will be dishing out standard Irish fare (and non-traditional food). So, bring your appetite!
RSVP early at stpatswynwood.com and you’ll get a coupon for a free beer. Just be sure to drink responsibly by having a designated driver or using an Uber/Lyft to get back home!
Fort Lauderdale St Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival
Held on March 10, the Ft. Lauderdale St Patrick’s Day Parade will be the area’s first of the year. It all begins at 7:30 am with the annual Shamrock Run, a 4-mile race that is followed by the Lucky Little Leprechaun Dash. Between the race and the parade, feel free to take a tour of quintessential Irish landmarks around Fort Lauderdale, including the Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Distillery. And don’t forget to cross O’Connell Bridge to witness Euro-inspired architecture in the works.
Last year, this free local event garnered thousands of green-clad onlookers, and 2018 should be no different. Click here for more information, including times.
Hollywood St. Patrick’s Day Parade
On the 11th, Hollywood follows in Ft. Lauderdale’s shoes with its own Paddy’s Day party. From noon to 6 pm, the parade and festival will take over Hollywood Boulevard and Harrison Street, transforming the entire downtown area into bona fide Irish celebration. Grab a green brew and bowl of Shepherd’s Pie after the parade, and enjoy the U2 tribute band, UV, turn St. Patrick’s Day into a “Beautiful Day.”

With St. Patrick’s Day fast approaching, now’s the time to get into the Irish spirit! But celebrating the holiday in Miami also means celebrating responsibly. At our South Florida Honda dealerships and service centers, we’ve seen the type of damage a drunk driver can do to a car and family—don’t become a statistic. If you’re planning on indulging in adult beverages, please make plans to have a DD or call a rideshare.
